About Florene Welebny
I grew up in Caliornia, where I received my 1st camera at age 9. I traveled with family to 48 states as well as Canada and Mexico with me photographing all the way. I moved to N.Y. in my teens where I saw some of the worlds best art galleries and museumns. While raising a family, my husband and I traveled to Hawaii, the Carribean and Europe. Really striking. Something a little wierd to me, and I can't figure why. I like the colors. Maybe it makes me (stupidly) think of floating eyeballs.
Florene Welebny replied:
Thank you Bruce - I read your history and can relate. I had my heart set on window display since junior High & in high school m guidance counselor told me no only Homosexual men were in that field ! took another 30 years before I was dressing mannequins and ended up in Interior Design 9which I loved ). Not stupid want the viewer to have their own interpretation.
